The Hundreds 2008 Spring Lookbook

Not normally one of my favorite streetwear brands, The Hundreds brought some heat in their spring lookbook this year, that I'm definately looking forward to seeing on a rack near me. A lot of raw selvage denim (which we like), some flannel and plaid button ups (I'm not as enthused about the new flannel trend as everyone else, but if it gives me a welcome break from gaudy color combinations it can't be all bad), spring jackets, caps and of course those great tees, all in much more subdued colors. Check it out:

The line will be available at The Hundreds retailers across the country, as well as in their online shop very, very soon.

The Timberland Ventech III Collection

Timberland introduced its new Ventech III Collection this week in Japan, and long story short: them bitches is hard as hell. No word on when they'll be available officially in the states, but if you know a little Japanese, aren't put off by currency conversion and are good with paying an extravagant amount for shipping, you can get them now from Japanese website Atmos as of right now today. Not a bad way to spend some hard earned Yen. But as you know, even if the boots don't officially make it to the states you should see them at your favorite bootlegger's spot within the month.

The new take on the 6 inch classic comes in 3 colorways, and features a graffiti inspired design across the upper. The design isn't a print or an emboss, rather Timberland's team of science guys found new way to make the design part of the actual shoe. And I just remembered that you don't give a fuck.

Diamond Does King

"I’m ride or die,” says the Atlanta badass, whose sexy frame is touched up with 14 tattoos. “There ain’t too many females who love how I love. I love hard.”

Except from her King magazine interview in the March/April issue, on stands now:

Does this make you the Beyonce´of crunk?

Well, that’s what a lot of people say, but I don’t; I’m just riding the ride. I’m trying to live life, and everything good that happens to me is just overwhelming. When people say stuff like that and single me out, it makes me feel good that they recognize things about me.

If you’re B. is Scrappy your Jay-Z?

You probably got to ask him that [laughs].

We don’t want no problems, so we’ll keep it focused on you. How can a man rock your hips?

He has to be a loving son of God, first and foremost. He has to have money, be able to take care of me and have a lot of common sense and street sense too - ’cause how the world is today, it’s crazy.

It’s not really that bad, is it?
Life is crazy. You ain’t turned to Maury Lately? People are crazy!

Pretty girl. I'm a little mad at the "he has to have money" comment, but she is cute. I'd fuck her.

Bun B speaks on Pimp C's death, Syrup

Good for you playboy. I'm glad it's at least one rapper speakin' out against syrup. I'm more used to seeing rappers make ignorant, detrimental shit like syrup and pill poppin look cool (I'm lookin at you Weezy).

Jay-Z's New Job

The New York Times reports that hip hop mogul Jay-Z has teamed with Steve Stoute to co-chair Translation Advertising, a branch of Translation Consulting and Brand Imaging which Stoute sold last year for an estimated $10-15 million. The new ad agency will open on Madison Avenue and aims to help marketers reach urban consumers. Makes sense, Jay's always trying to sell us some shit.
